Upcycled clothing is a cornerstone of eco-friendly fashion. It gives the fashion industry a new opportunity to go green and offers designers a whole range of materials to work with, including the reuse of old or unused fabric, textiles, and clothing that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
In addition, this technique go beyond the basic concept of recycling to include repurposing ordinary, everyday objects into unique garments and accessories. Whoever thought old skateboards could become bangles or earrings, or discarded seatbelts could become a high-fashion clutch?
Plus, with the emergence of craft sites everywhere you look, DIY projects are a fun way to reconstruct and recycle the pile of clothing sitting at the back of your closet. The possibilities are endless!
